History

FULLOOP was registered in Malaysia in 1997 as a partnership business by our founder, Mike Kooy, and subsequently incorporated into a private limited company (Sdn Bhd) in 1999. 

FULLOOP initially started off as a small electrical engineering specialist in the construction sector. Over the years, we have expanded and developed our business portfolios into three (3) major business divisions - Building Division, Industrial Division and Infrastructure Division.

Over 20+ years, we are proud to have worked with the most renowned local consultants such as Ranhill Consulting, GH Consultants, Jurutera Perunding Valdun, Maunsell MVOF, LC Engineering, Lian Juan Engineering, Jurutera Sinarunding Aidil, Jurutera Perunding LC, Perunding Asatec and others for the local LV & ELV projects for residential/commercial buildings and factories. We have also worked with international consultants such as ABB, Alstom, FW, Marubeni, Organo and Siemens with E&I projects in China, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam & Ghana.

Our dedicated and trained technical personnel, experienced management, well-equipped facilities, established in-house subcontractors and well-managed supply chain ecosystem have helped us to grow steadily over the years.

The valuable project experiences with the extensive networks of clients, subcontractors, suppliers and partners, developed over the years have empowered FULLOOP to perform more efficiently, professionally and profitably for future undertakings.

Mike Kooy

Mike is the founder of FULLOOP. Mike has more than 30 years of professional experience and in-depth technical knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering, control and instrumentation. With his vision, leadership and competency, he has laid the solid foundation for the company to continue building its successes in the future. 

Executive Director

Yap Kim Hoon

Mr. Yap has more than 20 years of industrial experience in electrical system design, project management, implementation for construction M&E projects and site commissioning in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Singapore and Philippine. He joined FULLOOP in 2006 initially as the General Manager and subsequently became the shareholder and Executive Director. He is currently in charge of the company’s business development, marketing and technical support of the Company.

The project scopes can range from simple cabling/wiring installation works in factories to complex, stringent electrical installation works in chemical plants or oil & gas facilities.

We have successfully completed and handed over more than 100 M&E projects beyond the satisfaction and expectation of our customers. These valuable project experiences have strengthened our readiness to undertake projects of larger scales and complexities, either in Malaysia or abroad, and to compete with the most established regional players in this industry.

Our Tools & Equipment

Our staff are fully equipped with all industry-standard machineries, instruments and tools to deliver our works in the field coupled with a well-maintained stores with spare parts and components ready to be deployed to the most urgent project needs. We also ensure constant upgrades of our equipment and tools up to the international standards and compliances, to keep our team well prepared to handle any task in any challenging and demanding environments.

Being a Malaysian home-grown engineering company, we are proud to have participated in many large scale projects managed by international consultants and main contractors such as ABB MYGEN, AKER-KVAERNER, ALSTOM, FW, JGC, L&T, NIIGATA, OGANO, SCM, SEC, SPG, TEC and TECHNIP. 

Being able to meet the most stringent engineering and safety requirements such as PTS, DEP and International EPCC Engineering requirements have put us at another level of competency. This helps to position FULLOOP to undertake larger scale and more challenging projects in the future.
